On Mon 22 September (Permalink, 1 Comment)I’ve been down in Cornwall for the past 3 days, so this seems all the more relevant… FaceBook now has a language option (at the bottom of the screen) called ‘English (Pirate)’ - translates the site into swashbuckling scallywag language! Nice to see the leaders of the field not taking themselves too seriously sometimes!

On Thu 3 July (Permalink, 1 Comment)Recently, since using 1Mb of JavaScript on every website has become acceptable practice, I’ve noticed an increase in the use of light/thickbox. I don’t this is neccessarily a bad thing - it does, however, become a problem when you start introducing functionlity within those windows (baskets, forms etc).
