A conflict of interest recently provoked me to question:
Should we do something simply because we can?
And I think this is an extremely valid question you should ask yourself when you design anything. I guess that links, in some way, to the BBC’s Web Principles which I discussed back in June - and makes me wonder If we don’t question everything - then how can we ever expect to be different?
A while back I mentioned FaceBox as a really convenient, unobtrusive popup script. The very same that Facebook use (see example) throughout their site. Although it’s very easy to use and customise… it does require the jQuery library.
