Litmus 27.03.09

I’d like to share with you Litmus- it’s an “advanced testing tool for web professionals” that allows you to preview your website in a host of different browsers. It’s extremely fast, looks great and it’s free (kinda)! -
Noah Stokes 26.03.09
If I really told you about how this worked, you’d crap your pants and your tiny mind would explode. Poof
Inspiring words from Noah Stokes – who’s got possibly the best developer portfolio site I’ve ever seen (he’s worked on some pretty nice projects too!). Thanks Sara!

Fluid for Mac 25.03.09

Fluid is:…an application that can create a ‘Site Specific Browser’ to run each of your favorite WebApps as a separate Cocoa desktop application.

If you haven’t already, check out the beautiful Shelfari. They’ve recently done a few tweaks (see above, new on the left – old on the right), but they’ve got some outstanding examples of UI design. -
PNG Fix and Tooltip 24.03.09

Whilst doing a little bit of research yesterday I came across the attractive website of Unit Interactive. Amongst some great work, these guys have two little freebies I thought were worth sharing. The first is a really lightweight and easy-to-use PNG fix – which seems to integrate a little better than standard HTC PNG Fix. Check it out here.
The second was a small simple tooltip (check it out, see above). So hard to find a small and attractive tooltip now that doesn’t depend on a giant JS library to fund the multitude of useless effects – but Unit have done a good job here!
