Graphic vs. Web Designer By Buzz
Apart from the obvious perception of web designers being complete nerds, and graphic designers being cool super-beings… what’s the difference between the two breeds of designer? Any?
Take me for instance. I design and code websites for a living - but I also do other shit too. I mean, I came from a print/branding background. I would consider myself therefore as a Graphic Designer… but in some circles that connotes a lack or basic grasp of web design… and vice-versa.
Maybe I’ll use Web Graphic Designer Developer and pray to god no-one ever asks me what that means! Reminds me of an image I saw on SwissMiss
