Weekly Review 1 26.08.08

So I thought for my own sake, I’d start doing weekly reviews about my professional goings on. Maybe it’ll give you some insight into my hectic life – maybe it’ll just bore you to death… who knows. It’ll just be a list of achievements/acomplishments and milestones…
- Designed HTML newsletters for Project Bubble, as well as designing and coding a development blog – which will be going live shortly
- Launched the new holding page for BuzzGraphics (mostly for Google’s sake). The new site is pretty much designed, and will be launched sometime soon!
- Learned that someone had stolen a design of mine (the design of my old portfolio site), and re-sold it as an ‘original’ WordPress theme!! That kind of shit doesn’t sit well with me!
- Moved this blog onto a new server – which meant accidentally deleting everything, and forever changing the RSS subscription link. Thank god for backups!
- Had a wicked concept approved by a freelance client. Really excited about this one, as it means designing a route which will eventually make an awesome website! It’s for a wine bar in Edinburgh… more details soon I hope!
- Worked like an absolute maniac to create concepts for a meeting I had on Friday. The client approved, so now I’m off to Denmark to present a second round.
- Finally, saw my parents for the first time in a while, and took them to see the Olympic closing ceremony at the Mall – which I won tickets to (photos below)
