Form Tutorial 17.06.08

I’ve been posting a lot about Firefox and browser issues, and I guess that stems a lot from my recent troubles with cross-browser compatability. I’ve been designing and developing forms a lot recently, which is a complete mine-field of CSS bugs and browser issues. I’ve been learning though, and that can only be a good thing – right?
Although it’s a little late for me now – I’ve just read a fantastic post on ‘Woork Blog’ about Form Elements Design using CSS and LI (ul & dl). Woork is always a fantastic resouce for straight-forward CSS problem solving, and this tutorial is no exception. The example shown in the tutorial works and looks great, but there are some points to consider if you’re worried about accessibility etc (but I guess if you’re worried about that, then you wouldn’t need this!)
Using the above resource, I think it’s probably worth the time and effort building a basic CSS/HTML framework for forms, that’s tested across ALL browsers (sigh) that you can simply ‘drop in’ to your next project.

wanna say something?
