Because I’m a PhotoShop user (I’ll address the whole Fireworks issue later) - I’m growing tired of Photoshop’s poor rendering of type. Smooth, strong, crisp? They’re all the same - rubbish! None of these resemble, even closely, what we can achieve within the browser.
So in response to this problem, I’m currently in the process of building a ‘live type’ generator (with the help of Johan). I know some exist out there, but much like the map problem - they’re pretty ugly, and hard to use. So mine is clean, simple, and will output whatever text you like (with font size, type, colour, line height etc etc).
Think you’d benefit from that? Let me know and I’ll keep you informed!
